About the Band

Austin Hadley (Lead Vocals)

Austin was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1984. His early years were spent in Portland, Oregon, followed by a move to Idaho as a teenager. Austin has always had a passionate love for music, and is influenced by many genres including everything from classic rock to rap. From his humble beginnings of singing in the shadows during his younger years, he has now transitioned into a formidable and entertaining performer. He also has a passion for writing poetry, some of his poems having since been transformed into song lyrics. Singing for various small bands while honing his skills, Austin eventually linked up with Jesse Cole and Nicolas Aguirre in 2012, the original members, forming the band Mirror|rorriM as we know it today.

Nicolas “Nic” Aguirre (Lead Guitar)

Nic was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1986. During his childhood years he listened to a lot of Classic Rock, which was embedded into him by his family. Any and all music from the early 60’s onward was regularly in circulation throughout his childhood home, which greatly influenced his love for music at a young age. He has many fond memories of falling asleep to his dad, uncles and family friends jamming music throughout the night. Nic’s main influences are Van Halen, Tom Petty, the Beatles and AC/DC. While attending training for an electrical vocational degree, he regularly caught hell for playing his roommate’s guitar. During his 18th Christmas, his mother bought him his first guitar and he hasn’t stopped playing since. Nic moved to Alaska with his mom to be closer to his grandparents. There he met Jesse Brownson, forming a three piece jam-band in Fairbanks. Nic and Jesse moved to Mackay, Idaho in 2009, hooked up with Austin Hadley at the local lumber yard, and started Mirror|rorriM.

Jesse “J-Cole” Brownson (Rhythm Guitar)

Jesse was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on the first day of May 1989. As a child Jesse was always very fond of the musical arts, but it wasn’t until a move to the last frontier, “Fairbanks Alaska”, when he rescued his first guitar from a dumpster at a dump station that he really started really building his chops. Jesse has lived, worked, and traveled throughout most of the western United States. He met Nicolas Aguirre in Fairbanks, Alaska and formed a three piece jam-band. Jesse and Nic moved to Mackay, Idaho in 2009, met Austin Hadley at the local lumber yard, and started Mirror|rorriM. Jesse enjoys a variety of music from good ol’ boy classic rock like Steve Miller, Boston, Black Sabbath, and Scorpions to grunge such as Stone Temple Pilots, Audio Slave, Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. When writing new material, Jesse relies on pure inspiration from his soul to develop the song structure rather than borrowing from someone else’s guitar licks or melodies. This leads to truly original music for the band to develop.

Eric Bodreau (Drums / Backup Vocals)

A Portland, Oregon native, Eric started on percussion in the school band at the age of 10. Influenced by a plethora of rock and punk bands like the Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Mistfits, Eric’s teen years were spent drumming and singing mostly cover songs in various different acts. When he was 16, he started playing in a group known as Neon Culpa. In 2006 they embarked on a national tour with Everclear on the Van Wilder: Rise of Taj Tour. Eric was fortunate to play most of the House of Blues venues throughout the country among others including the Crystal Ballroom (PDX), Harpo’s (Detroit), and the B.B. King Blues Club (NYC). Eric continued to play in Neon Culpa until the right circumstances lead him and his growing family to make the 700 mile trek to Central Idaho. It was that move in 2015, and a vague post in the local classifieds for a band in need of a drummer, that resulted in Eric’s introduction to the current members of Mirror|rorriM.

Brandon "Brando" Bryan (Bass)

Brandon was born in Bellevue, Washington on November 15th, 1989. He grew up in Puyallup, Washington. Played violin in 4th grade, and picked up the trumpet the following year instead. Played that all the way til graduating high school. Picked up guitar at 14...
